Educator Loans offers the nations leading mortgage programs to teachers. This includes programs for first time home buyers, repeat home buyers, and competitive mortgage refinancing.

Many teachers that are buying their first home will find that the FHA provides the best home financing options for them. This is largely due to the low down payment requirement of 3.5%.However, teachers who have good or excellent credit and more money to put down may want to select a conventional loan which may offer a better interest rate.

There are also special government home loan programs offered to teachers through the teacher next door program (technically known as the HUD good neighbor next door program).
