Teachers may apply for a wide range of home loans, including conventional, FHA, USDA (for rural/agricultural properties), and other unique loan products.  FHA loans for teachers include an option that only requires a 3.5% down payment, as well as the HUD teacher next door program which only requires a down payment of $100 and 50% discounts on home purchase prices.
